Kirribilli is one of my favourite locations for photoshoots because it offers so many different looks in one session — harbour views, laneways, greenery, and the iconic bridge. It’s the perfect spot for proposals, engagements, or intimate sessions.

Sara and Samuel’s sunrise session at the Opera House and Botanical Gardens was calm, quiet and perfect for photos without the usual crowds. Sunrise is the best time for a relaxed shoot in this area, and the soft light looked beautiful against both the architecture and the greenery. Sara brought two outfits, which added variety and worked perfectly across both locations.

Mia and Sanjeev’s surprise proposal took place on their favourite bushwalk to celebrate their 3-year anniversary. Max planned a picnic and told Anna they were doing a photoshoot to mark the occasion. Hi, I’m Anne-Mari

I help couples choose beautiful locations and, for surprise proposals, create a simple plan so everything runs smoothly and the moment feels genuine. From timing and light to where I’ll be positioned, I’ll guide you through the process while keeping the surprise truly a surprise.

Send me a message through my contact form and I’ll get back to you via email within 48 hours to confirm my availability. I’ll send through a booking information to finalise everything. To secure your date I require deposit and a signed contract. Once that is done, your date is locked in.

Yes, I personally edit all images I deliver to you. My aim when editing your images is to present you with natural images that are true to colours. I supply you with images in a mix of colour and black and white.

As much as I love to work candidly, I will step in when needed. I will provide you with a little bit of gentle direction if and when needed. Most of the time this will be as easy as asking you to walk together, focus on each other and giving you little cues here and there to bring out those genuine moments.

Shooting in wet weather can produce some of the most unique images. Some of my favourite images have been in the rain, so I encourage you to just embrace the day. If it’s forecast for rain, grab some clear or white umbrellas as these work best for photos.

That’s totally okay! It’s so natural to feel this way but I’ve got you. I work slowly with a mindful approach and give you guidance to help you get out of your head and back into the moment.
